At the JHUMKA Lab, we approach our research on gender equity, migration, and health through Justice and HUMility, while co-creating Knowledge and Action!
Dr. Jhumka Gupta and her team are dedicated to advancing the science of gender-based violence against women and girls (e.g. intimate partner violence, sex trafficking) using a social epidemiology framework. We also focus on menstrual justice research and populations impacted by forced displacement.
